There are so many incredible places to stay in and around London, and we understand that it can often be very difficult to decide where to stay. Luckily, that’s where we come in! We’re here to introduce 3 different places to stay in London, that all offer a different experience in London depending what it is you’re looking for. So, let’s get into it and find out the best places to stay in London!
Oxford Street
First up we have Oxford Street, which is most well known for being one of Europe’s busiest and best shopping streets, so it is perfect if you want to make sure you fit your shopping in whilst you’re in London! However, it is also an excellent place to stay in general so that you have access to everything the city has to offer! First let’s discuss the shopping, as it is phenomenal. Everything from high street stores to luxury designer shops and some iconic department stores all grace this street, so no matter what you’re looking for or your budget, you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for here. There is also incredible food and drink all in and around Oxford Street, so you will be spoilt for choice. Oxford Street is also very close to Mayfair, Hyde Park and Westminster, so the world is your oyster when it comes to exploring further outside Oxford Street, especially if you want to explore on foot. Plus, it is super accessible and you can get anywhere in London from the Oxford Street London parking, tube stops, bus stops or train stations! If you want a bit of everything London has to offer, stop near Oxford Street.
Covent Garden
Another wonderful place to stay when in London is Covent Garden! Again, this is a great central location that will give you a great insight into what London is like. You’re right by Soho which is a great area to explore, but Covent Garden itself has so much to offer. Incredible shops are just part of it, but you also have stunning restaurants and bars, indoor markets and a beautiful central building that merges the indoor and outdoor shops for an unforgettable experience. If you are planning a visit to the theatre whilst in London, this is also perfect, as you are just around the corner from the West End. On the short walk to the theatre, you will find some of London’s finest restaurants, bars and pubs for you to enjoy. Even if you decide not to stay in Covent Garden, it is an area that you simply can’t miss whilst in London.
Shoreditch
Shoreditch is our last spot in London that we would definitely recommend visiting, as it offers an edgier side of London that is really different! Your choice of vintage clothes shops is endless, you’ll find so many amazing independent bars and restaurants, the architecture is incredible and the people are so friendly. Shoreditch truly has a bit of something for everyone, so is certainly worth staying in if you don’t want to be in the very centre of London and want a more authentic experience.
